Stephen Kenny's side remain unbeaten after three league games |
Derry City and Shelbourne played out an entertaining scoreless draw in Friday's Eircom League clash at the Brandywell. Mark Farren had a first half chance for Derry but Shels defender Dave Rodgers got in a crucial tackle.
Derry keeper David Ford then saved a Jason Byrne effort while Clive Delaney went close for City before half-time.
Gary Beckett hit the Shels woodwork in the 55th minute while Byrne went close for the Dubliners again late on only for Peter Hutton to block on the line.
The result means Derry remain unbeaten with two draws and a win from their opening three league games.
