So there we have it, the semi-final line-up is complete after a rip-roaring final day of the regular season.

It was a fitting finale with tries being scored up and down the land in high-scoring affairs which have been a feature of this season's Prem.

Exeter secured their play-off spot and Sale and Gloucester ensured it would be they who play Champions Cup rugby at Harlequins' expense next season.

For most the season ends today, but for Northampton, Bath, Leicester and Exeter it goes on and they still have their shot at glory, starting with next week's semi-finals.

Make sure you join us for those next Friday and Saturday.

Orlando Bailey will be having nightmares with that conversion.

He should have nailed it for the draw.

Now that’s the third consecutive Prem game between these two, including last season's final, to have finished with a two point difference.

  3. And then there were four...published at 17:31 BST 6 June

Now we have confirmation, here's how the post-season shake-up will play out this year:

    • Semi-final one: Northampton Saints v Leicester Tigers - Friday, 12 June (19:45 BST)

    • Semi-final two: Bath v Exeter Chiefs - Saturday, 13 June (15:00)

Leicester Tigers head coach Geoff Parling spoke to TNT Sports:

"Frustrated at the end result but really proud of the players efforts.

"We'll move on pretty sharpish. It's a short week and we'll focus our attentions on Friday now".

Exeter centre Henry Slade speaking to TNT Sports:

"It’s a really good feeling. We got used to it a while back but you never know how much you enjoy something until you miss it. It’s been five or six years since we got into the play-offs.

"The boys came in from the start of pre-season with the bit between their teeth. To play in front of a near sell out again is amazing.

"I think we started with a bit of nerves, understandably some of the boys haven’t been in the play-offs before but once we got over that we came on strong and at the end of the first half we went the length to score.

"Rob (Baxter) set it out for us at the start of the season. We want to be a hard team to beat we’ve got to scrap for everything and that’s what we’ve been doing. When you work hard you get your rewards.

On if beating old rivals Saracens meant a bit more: "Of course it did."

  6. 'Leicester are such a formidable side' - Du Toitpublished at 17:20 BST 6 June

    FT: Bath 24-22 Leicester

Bath's hat-trick scorer Thomas du Toit spoke to TNT Sports shortly after full-time:

"We know every time we play Leicester Tigers they are such a formidable side - they are rock hard.

"It was brilliant. We were joking before the closest I came to scoring a hat-trick was scoring in three games in a row.

"We are just so grateful to play at home. It doesn't make it any easier - we know Exeter are a great side - but we are up for the challenge".

  7. 'This tees-up a real humdinger'published at 17:18 BST 6 June

A draw would have been enough for Bath to secure a home semi-final and this tees-up a real humdinger next week.

    A win is a win.

  8. Play-off semi-finals...published at 17:15 BST 6 June

Exeter get the win they needed over their old rivals to ensure it is they who go on to the semi-finals next weekend.

What a performance they put in - especially in the second half.

For Saracens, the season ends here, as does boss Mark McCall's 15-year spell at the helm.

    Exeter 32-12 Saracens

    John Lockyer
Former Exeter Chiefs captain on BBC Radio Devon

Well done the Chiefs, they are now definitely into the semi-finals!

This is really ironic that Exeter have at last get the big victory over Saracens in a game that really, really matters.

They've done the double over Saracens.

    A brilliant season!

  12. try

Try: Exeter 32-12 Saracenspublished at 17:04 BST 6 June

    Varney (78 mins) con: Slade

Chaos! Pure and utter chaos for Exeter who have their fourth and now winning try!

The ball is loose at the breakdown, Maro Itoje tries to kick it on but it's blocked back in the other direction and Exeter are away down the pitch!

Stephen Varney dribbles the ball on a couple of times and it bounces up nicely for him to grab and dive over the line in front of the delirious home fans.

Exeter are going to the play-offs!

    Bath 24-22 Leicester

Full-time at the Rec and Bath will host a Prem semi-final next weekend!

But boy did they have to fight for it.

Tighthead prop Thomas du Toit scores a hat-trick to help the club he will leave at the end of the season get over the line.

Leicester kept up with Bath in awful conditions and George Pearson's late try meant it was a very nervy ending.

The roar from the Bath fans at the end of the match tells the story. They will be delighted they have just edged out a play-off rival and get a first win over Leicester this season.

Will they see them once more at Twickenham later this month in a repeat of last year's final?

  14. Postpublished at 17:03 BST 6 June

    Exeter 25-12 Saracens

They have to take some risk Saracens now and it is moved wide to flying winger Noah Caluori but he gets his kick wrong and gives Exeter the ball back.

That needed to stay infield and Sarries really need to score from this attack now...

  15. try

What a step there from Chiefs back row Tom Hooper!

He beats Theo Dan all ends up and leaves Ben Earl grasping at thin air!

That's just stemmed the Sarries momentum and Exeter make a couple of subs to just break things up further as we head into the final five minutes.

Rob Baxter and his men are almost there.

  17. Sin-bin: Joe Cokanasiga (Bath)published at 17:01 BST 6 June

Bath down to 14 - Joe Cokanasiga sent to the bin for offside.

  19. 'A big kick by Farrell'published at 17:00 BST 6 June

    Exeter 25-12 Saracens

    Nigel Walrond
    BBC Radio Devon commentator

That's a big kick by Owen Farrell because that cuts the deficit to to 13 points.

So, two converted tries now and Saracens can can still win this game.

  20. Postpublished at 76 mins

    Bath 24-17 Leicester

Penalty Leicester for holding on. Orlando Bailey's kick to the corner is sensational.

They have a line-out very close to the Bath line once more.
