    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

Stockport are continuing to push for the equaliser and now they win a corner on the right.

Odin Bailey loops it deep to the back post and it's helped back across goal by Adama Sidibeh.

Up goes makeshift centre-back Kyle Wootton but he cannot generate any power on his header and it's comfortable for Jack Bonham in the Bolton goal.

Everyone was expecting this game to be somewhat lethargic given the weather but this game has started fiery indeed.

The Bolton end hadn't stopped singing after the opening goal but they were stunned to silence as Adama Sidibeh's ball went in.

Of course, they've found their voice again now VAR have gone their way...

If it carries on like this, they'll only have one more promotion and they can have it every week.

It is absolutely accidental, but it impacts his ability to play the ball.

The Stockport players are up in arms, but if you take that down to the other end you would want a foul.

  6. 'Right decision'published at 13:15 BST

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

    Liam Hogan
Former Stockport defender on BBC Radio Manchester

It is the right decision, he has clipped his foot. It is accidental, he didn't mean it.

Bolton are getting caught out, it was a great finish still from Stockport and a great response even though it didn't count. They need to carry on.

    Adama Sidibeh

Red hot weather. Red hot start to this League One play-off final.

Stockport County are right back in it after just 11 minutes.

Adama Sidibeh shrugs off the attentions of George Johnston and races through before smashing into the bottom corner from the angle.

But VAR are having a look...

  10. 'Quick start, big advantage'published at 13:10 BST

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

    Kate Holloway
    BBC Sport at Wembley Stadium

Eruption from the Bolton end, flares thrown onto the pitch and it's only been three minutes.

As soon as Stockport stopper Corey Addai dived to parry away that initial effort from Mason Burstow, you felt the tension creep in and Ruben Rodrigues delivered the killer blow with cut-throat precision.

Given that the temperatures will rise and quick start may just prove vital in a match of this magnitude.

  11. 'There is so much time'published at 13:10 BST

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

    Liam Hogan
Former Stockport defender on BBC Radio Manchester

Stockport can't play as if the game has gone, there is so much time. They have so much threat in attack but they can't let Bolton have all the possession.

They have to quickly get back in attack and get back to being aggressive. Take the game to them.

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

How will Stockport react now? They lost 3-1 at Wembley in the EFL Trophy final to Luton Town just six weeks ago.

It is absolutely fantastic from Bolton. The defenders react far too slowly. Great start from Bolton, not good enough from Stockport.

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

Bolton could not have dreamed of a better start. And who else to get the opener than Ruben Rodrigues?

He was in the Oxford United side that beat the Trotters in the League One play-off final two years ago.

  15. 'Could be a long afternoon for Stockport'published at 13:07 BST

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

    Jay Freeman
    BBC Sport at Wembley Stadium

Conceding early on in the play-off final is one thing. Conceding when the weather's like this is another.

This could be a long afternoon for Stockport if Bolton can slow the game down and hold onto their lead.

  16. 'Really poor goalkeeping'published at 13:06 BST

    Bolton 1-0 Stockport

    Daniel Mann
    Sky Sports Commentator

It seemed Addai was a bit surprised by the strike.

The shot is a long way out, that's really poor goalkeeping.

From that range you have to be catching it.

  17. goal

GOAL: Bolton 1-0 Stockportpublished at 3 mins

    Ruben Rodrigues

What a start for Bolton Wanderers!

Stockport keeper Corey Addai completely fails to deal with a slow bobbling shot from Thierry Gale from about 30 yards out and parries it straight into the path of Mason Burstow.

Burstow pulls it back across goal, a Stockport defender backheels it straight to Ruben Rodrigues who makes no mistake, slotting calmly into the bottom right-hand corner with his left foot.

  20. 'Bolton feel calmer this time around'published at 13:01 BST

    Bolton 0-0 Stockport

    Keith Hill
Former Bolton and Barnsley boss on BBC Radio Manchester

Compared to two years ago it feels much calmer. The manager is calmer. You can see that in how he speaks in his post-match interviews and press conferences.

Thinking about who is going to be a key player today, Cozier-Duberry has had a fantastic season. We need one more good performance from him. We are asking him to turn up for one more big game.

We all want the game concluded long before the final whistle. No one will want extra time and that goes for both sides.
