Manchester United's players go to applaud their fans and for the first time since 10 September they can do so with three points under their belts.
Finally, those fans have something to cheer about.

Man Utd 3-2 Roma
A first win in 10 games for Manchester United in all competitions.
That game had absolutely everything - has it also just saved Michael Carrick's job?

This comeback has shades of the Atalanta one a good few years back that seemed to spare OGS a little bit longer, have a feeling the same will happen again for Carrick.

Man Utd 3-2 Roma
Roma have barely had a shot in this second half but Santiago Castro gets a header in the box and it's neither a shot on goal or an attempt to set someone else up.
A missed opportunity.

All over and Aston Villa are well beaten, but no shame in that against this Barcelona side.

Carrick needs to start playing Lacey instead of Amad. Difference he makes in attacking play is night and day, runs at defenders and creates options.
Ian
Lacey has been superb. Start him in the league!

Just what could this win do for Manchester United and Michael Carrick?
It has felt for some weeks like he is on borrowed time but has he just managed to find a bit more?

Barcelona 3-0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa have the chance to get on the scoresheet as he drives towards the box but then gets far too much under his shot and the ball flies well over the bar.

Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 LiveI'm pleased for Michael Carrick. He has found life so difficult with not knowing who to trust in that dressing room but the Man United players are showing some fight.

Man Utd 3-2 Roma
Oh dear. That is a daft, unnecessary challenge from Matheus Cunha on Leonardo Balerdi and he's shown a second yellow card.
Two goals, a party in the crowd and a sending off. Quite a night.

Into the final few minutes of this one and Zion Suzuki prevents Lamine Yamal from adding a fourth as he gets his fingertips to the Barcelona man's shot.

Manchester United 3-2 Roma
Alan Shearer
Former England striker on Amazon PrimeThat has been the big difference in this second half. You just watch how quick United pass and move, and run in behind.
He's got the option Matheus Cunha of squaring that ball into Bryan Mbeumo in the middle, but he's having none of it with his first goal and the belief that he had, and the confidence, he thinks no, I'm going to have a pop and what a strike it is! There's too much pace on it.

Man Utd 3-2 Roma
One minute to go in this second half, plus five minutes of stoppages.
Roma threw away a lead against Real Madrid earlier this season in the Champions League too and this has been an almighty collapse compared with their first-half performance.
SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:48 GMT
Man Utd 3-2 Roma
A quite remarkable turnaround after a dire first half.
Mason Mount and Matthijs de Ligt replace Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire, who looks to be limping a bit.
Matheus Cunha did, of course, go into the referee's book for his celebrations.

Matheus Cunha (86 mins)
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.
Matheus Cunha makes it two in three minutes to put his side ahead. Shea Lacey slots it through for the Brazilian, he rides the challenge with a touch to get him into some space and unleashes an absolute beauty into the back of the net from a tight angle.
His shirt is off, he's in the crowd, the roof almost blows off Old Trafford.

Roma should have been long out of sight at half time but they have sat off in this second half and Manchester United have capitalised.

Don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing for PSG that they are peaking too early normally they start playing in the ucl when the playoff stage starts.
