With the 2025 county season completed, stay up to date with the latest player signings and speculation.
Key to abbreviations: REL = released; RET = retired; YTH = from youth teams; UKP = born overseas, but has UK passport.
Counties have been permitted to field two overseas players in all competitions since 2021.
Players who moved counties or retired during the 2025 season are included on the 2025 list. Not included are players signed on short-term arrangements purely for non-competitive friendly matches.

Seamer Marchant de Lange has signed a new contract just for T20 cricket. All-rounder Ben Charlesworth will leave the club at the end of the season.

Former England white-ball coach Matthew Mott has been appointed as a specialist T20 coaching consultant. Danny Salpietro has been named second XI coach, external, with predecessor Karl Krikken becoming talent identification manager.
Luke Wood, Liam Livingstone and Jos Buttler, external have moved to T20-only deals. James Anderson has been appointed as the club's new Championship captain. Australian seamer Mitch Perry pulled out his overseas player deal because of a back injury.
Leicestershire
