Man City beat Arsenal to take big win in Premier League

With only a month until the end of the season, the Premier League title race is really hotting up.
On Sunday, second-placed Manchester City beat league leaders Arsenal 2-1 in a huge match at the top of the table.
Arsenal have been ahead for much of the season but things are now getting pretty close between the two teams, with City having played one game less.
Pep Guardiola's side are now only three points behind the Gunners, and could overtake them and go top of the table on Wednesday evening.
It's so close that some experts think the championship could even be decided by goal difference for the first time since 2011-2012, when it was won by... Man City.
Do you think Arsenal will hold on at the top and be crowned Premier League champions? Or will Manchester City win the title this season? Let us know in the comments below..

What happened during the match?

Both teams went into the match knowing that a win could make a big difference in the race to become this season's champions.
It was an exciting game, with both sides putting each other under plenty of pressure.
It was Manchester City who made the stronger start, with Rayan Cherki putting the home side 1-0 up with brilliant solo effort after 16 minutes.
However, City's lead didn't last long.
Less than two minutes later, Kai Havertz equalised for Arsenal, after a mistake by City's goalkeeper Gianluiga Donnarumma.

With the match 1-1 at half-time, it was all to play for in the second half.
City and Arsenal created plenty of big chances and nearly came close to scoring, with both sides hitting the post.
But it was Manchester City's superstar striker Erling Haaland who came to the rescue in the 65th minute, and scored the winner from close range.
The result means that in the space of a week, Arsenal's nine point lead in the championship has now been cut to just three.
The Gunners will be hoping to cling on and win their first Premier League title in 22 years.
However, due to the league timetable, Manchester City have played a game less, and could overtake Arsenal midweek if they win that.
That's because City travel to Burnley on Wednesday night, where a win for the north-west side could see them go top of the league on goal difference.
