Head of Guinea's electoral commission removed to ease tensions ahead of vote

The head of Guinea's electoral commission, who has been the source of protest on the part of presidential candidate, Cellou Dallien Diallo and his supporters, has been removed.

The new electoral chief is General Siaka Toumani Sangare.

The move has come just four days before the crucial second run of the presidential elections.
