Rebels of Uganda's Lords Resistance Army (LRA) continue to terrorise communities across central Africa, despite attempts made by state armies in the region to wipe them out.

The rebels led by Joseph Kony have been launching fresh attacks in south Sudan.

Recent human rights reports also accuse the LRA of killing and abducting hundreds of youngsters in the Central African Republic and Democratic Republic of Congo.

BBC Network Africa's Peter Martell joined the United Nations to visit those affected along the border with DR Congo.
