Love is in the 'air' in Inverness

Valentine's Day has inspired members of the BBC Weather Watchers community to take some love-ly photographs.

You wait an age to see a heart-shaped muddy pool and then two come along at once! Figaro found the one above languishing in a field in Dinnington, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Not too far away WanderWoman spotted the one below on the beach in Bamburgh, Northumberland.

Surely this is the sort of cloud everyone loves? Maggie T Howlett snapped it as it floated over East Leake in Nottinghamshire.

A bit of early sunshine brought out the hidden romantic side of this tree in the Hampshire village of East Meon.

Birds in the sky over Hutton, North Somerset, formed a very fitting Valentine's Day murmuration.

Let's hope there was no garden-envy in Hawes, in North Yorkshire, where this climbing plant has to take top spot on 14 February. You just have to love it.

It's probably taken thousands of years for Mother Nature to carve out this heart-shaped rock but it was worth the wait. Eagle-eyed Jackie H saw it while out walking on the beach in Bridlington.
