Derry City defender Clive Delaney is targeting a place in the Setanta Cup for the high-flying Candystripes. The Brandywell team sit second in the Eircom Premier Division after an impressive start to the season.
"The side has changed greatly since Stephen Kenny came in and the atmosphere is just great at the moment," said the big Dubliner.
"If we carry on like this we have a good chance of qualifying for Europe and the Setanta Cup next year."
"Realistically, challenging for the title this year might just be a bit much for us," he added.
"But we are winning games now that we would have drawn last year and taking points from games we would have lost."
Delaney joined City from St Patrick's Athletic lasy year and has played in every game since his arrival.
