Derry go second with away victory |  Striker Alan Murphy scored the winner for Derry City |
Derry City have moved up to second in the Eircom Premier Division after a 1-0 victory over Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds on Friday night. Striker Alan Murphy scored the only goal of the game on 27 minutes. The victory for the Candystripes also brought Bray's unbeaten home record this season to an end. Derry replace Cork City in second place and they have closed the gap on leaders Shelbourne to two points after the champions drew 0-0 at Drogheda.
