This is vintage Norrie when he's hitting his forehand like this.
Over the years, we've come to understand that not the just way Norrie won his tennis at the beginning of his career was with long drawn-out rallies, he then started to add aggression with his forehand getting closer to the lines.

What I admire most about Cam Norrie is his warrior-like attitude to the competitive side of the sport. He will never be beaten on fitness - injury, maybe - but fitness, you will never see him tire in a match.
In these brutal conditions, he'd be your worst nightmare to take on.

I feel like Medvedev really beat himself out there. That was a very disappointing performance from him. I don't know what was going on with all of those drop shots - it was an obsession and stubborness with 'I'm going to win this match by playing drop shots' and they weren't working.

Adolfo Daniel Vallejo is a former top-ranked junior player, who broke into the world top 100 in March.
The 22-year-old is the first Paraguayan man to play at a Grand Slam since 2010 Wimbledon - and is serving first as he seeks to become the first to win a Grand Slam match since 2003, and at Roland Garros for 28 years.

The British number one admitted this week that it might have been a mistake not to retire during his Geneva Open defeat by Argentina's Mario Navone on Wednesday.
"It is a small problem with my rib. I overdid it with the preparation and not listening to my body and my mind," Norrie told BBC Sport.
"I probably should have retired. I kept pushing because I had never retired before in a match in my career, so I wasn't sure what to do.
"But I'm here. Luckily I'm scheduled on Tuesday, so it gives me some time to get ready."

I wonder if the heat has been helping Adam Walton because he is in possession of a massive serve and at times he's been able to find his mark with that in this clash.
Medvedev was actually quite irritable because of the heat in the opening set but it has rocked back and forth and now we're in the fifth.

It looked like sixth seed Daniil Medvedev had finally got a grip of things in the final set but wild card Adam Walton will not lie down.
The Australian manages to break back - and promptly tries to orchestrate some support from the crowd, wildly pumping his arms up and down.

He is set for a first meeting with Paraguay's Adolfo Daniel Vallejo to begin his ninth appearance at Roland Garros, having reached the second round in five of his previous eight appearances.
Norrie managed a career-best run to the fourth round in 2025, however a rib injury has hampered his preparations for this year's tournament.
