    Wigan Warriors

Wigan Warriors winger Anna Davies speaking on BBC Two:

"I'm a bit speechless. I thought last year was a statement but I think today the pressure was on us to do it and be able to execute it again.

"I thought it would be a real battle today because they're coming for us and to be able to weather that storm at the start was a bit chaotic, but we got our composure back and we were able to execute it at the end and we were able to enjoy it and relax into it. I think that's where we play our best.

"I'm really thankful for the opportunity to play here and to be able to do it with the girls."

  2. 'Almost a point a minute laid the platform'published at 13:45 BST

    FT: Wigan 54-6 St Helens

    Sharon Shortle
BBC Sport commentator on BBC Two

Scoring almost a point a minute for the first 23 or 24 minutes really laid the platform for the win for Wigan.

    Ten tries in all.

  3. 'Game was won in first 20 minutes'published at 13:44 BST

    FT: Wigan 54-6 St Helens

    Caitlin Beevers
Leeds Rhinos centre on BBC Two

Although it was a dominant performance, the game was won in the first 20 minutes and it's always going to be hard to come back against such a powerful side like Wigan.

  4. 'Thoroughly deserved'published at 13:42 BST

    FT: Wigan 54-6 St Helens

    Brian Noble
Former Great Britain coach on BBC Two

    Thoroughly deserved for Wigan.

A super performance, clinical. They developed the field position through their relentless defence and their attention to detail in and around the ruck and stopping Saints' prowess and go forward in the middle.

    Well played Wigan.

Two years, two Wigan thrashings of St Helens.

Obviously Wigan ended Saints' dominance in this competition last year but this was another level altogether.

Since 2023 the women's and men's final have taken place on the same day at Wembley and we've yet to have a double header where both of one club's women's and men's teams have won in their respective finals.

    Could that change today?

  7. Watch: Hunter's superb solo scorepublished at 13:35 BST

    FT: Wigan 54-6 St Helens

There were a lot of tries to choose from - but this superb solo effort from Eva Hunter might have been the pick of the bunch.

It's all over and Wigan have won it in a very dominant performance at Wembley!

The result never looked in doubt and Eva Hunter was among the star performers with four of Wigan's ten tries.

Into the closing stages now and Saints' Faye Gaskin's eyes light up as she chases her own kick through - only for Anna Davies to cover round and clear the danger.

That was so well-deserved for Remi Wilton.

Eva Hunter has been a difference maker today. St Helens have not been able to handle her.

    An irresistible force.

Here's her hat-trick try.... she's add a fourth since, of course.

    Remi Wilton (con: Rowe)

    A tenth try for Wigan.

A well worked move from Warriors who make huge yards with every tackle and Saints just can't stem the momentum at all as Remi Wilton gets her name on the scoresheet.

Wigan just won't let off, will they?

If last year's thrashing of St Helens at Wembley, and subsequent treble, was them announcing themselves then this is on another level.

This is Denis Betts' side saying they've changed the game forever.

    You are just kidding me!

That was dead and buried on two occasions in that carry and it came to life and it came to life and it kept going.

The belief in this young lady is just that she can score from anywhere, do anything.

    That's some carry!

A good cover tackle by Bethan Dainton but I think everyone could see that it wasn't a try before the review!

More disappointment on what has been a day to forget for Saints.
