"There are obviously big games and rivalries that we have with other teams, but this one is certainly right up there because of the history, the ups and downs this match-up has produced in the past, the entertainment and the emotion. All of those things make it a really special game.

Wolves manager Rob Edwards on sticking together since the club's relegation was confirmed: "In the end we have to win games of football, so we have to find the winning team. I left a really good job, a really good role, at a club that was winning, into a role where I knew we weren’t going to be able to keep everyone happy here this year and I accepted it.

"So we have to keep strong, and believe in what this football club is trying to do.

"I’m happy to take it on my shoulders - criticism and stick. I don’t look at it but I know it’s there.

"I do believe we will be able to turn things around in the long term. Results, are unfortunately the one thing we cannot guarantee, but we are trying to do the right things."

  17. Big chance for Arsenal to extend leadpublished at 13:29 BST

Arsenal v Fulham (Sat, 17:30 BST)

    Alex Howell
BBC Sport reporter at Arsenal training ground

Arsenal have a huge chance to move six points clear at the top of the Premier League table against Fulham on Saturday.

Manchester City are not in action until Monday when they play Everton away from home.

The Gunners come into the game on the back of their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-final.

Mikel Arteta said he was "incredibly fuming" that Eberechi Eze's penalty was overturned by VAR late on.

Martin Odegaard also came off and was seen to be getting treatment so Arteta will be able to give fitness updates before tomorrow's game.

  18. Good news on the fitness front for Man Utdpublished at 13:24 BST

Man Utd v Liverpool (Sun, 15:30 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport Chief Football News Reporter

Manchester United posted pictures of a couple of players training this week, which in theory is good news.

Matheus Cunha was ruled out of Monday's win over Brentford with what Michael Carrick said was a "minor injury", so he will presumably be fit for Sunday's showdown with old rivals Liverpool.

Matthijs de Ligt's absence has been much longer – since the end of November.

Last week, Carrick said he was not prepared to rule the Dutchman out for the remainder of the season.

Given there are only four games left, De Ligt will need an uninterrupted recovery from the running he was posted doing last weekend.

Carrick is not one for giving too much information away on player fitness, so it will be interesting to see what he chooses to say on the Dutchman later.
