Chelsea boss Sonia Bompastor speaking to WSL: "Really important result. We wanted to finish on a high and in terms of mentality and control that's what we had to do. We can celebrate a bit with the fans, the staff and players even if it's a bit of a disappointing season for us. We still are happy to finish with a high.

"That's the standard at this club. I don't expect less. I am demanding on myself, the players know when you sign for Chelsea it's about winning games, titles and trophies. We couldn't achieve everything we wanted to this season. We probably know the reasons why and it's not always easy for me to just say everything here in front of the camera but it's a good reflection for us as a club to make sure looking at the future we will be in a good place."

On planning for the future: "I have already started with the club, that's important. Now we are in a period where we have more time and less pressure on games and results so the reflection will be better."

On Sam Kerr and Millie Bright leaving: "Both of them have done so well for the club - won so many trophies and represented the club. As players they are great. Millie was our captain, at her best level and playing good football last year but this season was a bit different with injuries. With Sam it was the opposite she couldn't play last season but has played this season and both have proved they are great players. We are losing very important people for the team, the group and the culture. It's a pleasure to have coached them - they are special and I want to wish them the best for their future and families."

Chelsea striker Sam Kerr speaking to Sky Sports: "Amazing day. Kind of fitting to play against Manchester United, a team I've scored so many of my favourite goals against. To score one like that today was awesome but the win is the most important thing and just to say goodbye and thank you to all the fans.

"I wanted to come out here and have fun like I always do. I enjoyed every minute today.

"The biggest honour to play for this club. I have so many amazing memories and I will carry them with me forever. Chelsea and London will always be home to me now. My little boy was born here and I have so many great friends at this amazing club. It's going to be hard to leave but I only have good things to say about this amazing club."

On sharing moment with son: "Awesome to finish with him. He was born in Chelsea so it's cute and a nice little finish. Special to walk out with him and have all my family here. It's a really sad day but happy day I guess."

On leaving at same time as Millie Bright: "It's nice to leave together and share all the memories but our impact on the club and the sport as a whole is for other people to talk about. We're still enjoying the moment and hopefully our impact will be talked about for many years to come."

Arsenal full-back Katie McCabe speaking to Sky Sports: "It was amazing. It was an honour to captain the side one last time. I was just enjoying every second of it. My team talk was to go out and enjoy it and play the Arsenal way, play our football, and we certainly did it. We were playing with smiles on our faces. I'm just delighted I could end with a win."

On her assist: "I went over to our set piece coach, he is also leaving at the end of the year, and he's been hammering us trying to finish final product on set pieces so it was nice Mariona stuck it in the back of the net today."

West Ham's best home performance of the season and not a 4-1 game at all. The players worked their socks off, some great build up play and with better finishing the score would have been a lot closer. Augurs well for next season.
