I have seen some poor performances from Celtic, but this is absolutely diabolical. There is no connection between any of the players, just passing and hoping it reaches someone. Not even O'Neil can get the best out of them!! And the board thinks this is acceptable. Something needs to drastically change and it needs to start at the top.

    Rob

I always laugh at Celtic fans as soon as they lose or are losing a game instantly just blame their board. Can never just be the fact the opposition are better that game. Self-entitlement springs to mind. No wonder our league is in the state it is

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:17 GMT

    Falkirk 2-0 Celtic

Celtic work the ball from left to right and Scott Bain has to force Colby Donovan's effort behind for a corner.

Mika Baur delivers and it's a good one as Bain is forced to save James Forrest's attempt.

Another corner, this time the clearance falls to the edge of the box where Callum McGregor races in but he can't find the target. Another massive opportunity goes begging.

Jacob Murrell has Falkirk's third, but was there a handball?

It all comes from a long throw-in which Celtic don't deal with well enough. Sam Johnstone can't gather and sends it into the path of Murrell who appears to hit the ball over the line with his hand.

A factual overturn and it's back to 2-0.

    Falkirk 2-0 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

Celtic have got a huge task ahead of them. They need a goal early in the second half.

They've had loads of possession but not enough penetration. But Falkirk have been great. It's going to be an incredible second half.

There will be more goals in this game, for sure.

    HT: Falkirk 2-0 Celtic

    Ian McCall
Former Partick Thistle manager on BBC Sportsound

Falkirk have scored two terrific goals. Tactically they've got it spot on. I think Owen Eames and Ethan Ross are working harder than Haissem Hassan and Callum Osmand, there's no way they're doing as well defensively.

For me, Cameron Carter-Vickers looks like he doesn't relish playing on astroturf, he looks sluggish.

I don't think Celtic have been poor, but it makes it even better that Falkirk are 2-0 up and have been absolutely terrific.
