That just about wraps up this goal-filled weekend in Scottish football.

Wins for Celtic, Dundee United and Hearts yesterday have been followed by today's victories for Hibs and Rangers, plus a draw between St Mirren and Motherwell.

Former Aberdeen and Rangers full-back Richard Foster and ex-Celtic and Hibs midfielder Scott Allan join host Jonathan Sutherland to provide the expert analysis.

Dundee head coach Steven Pressley tells BBC Sportsound: "Over the course, there's no doubt Hibernian deserved to win.

"We looked a little bit disjointed. We weren't really cohesive in the way we wanted to press the game or cohesive in our build-up play.

"Hibernian came, they surprised us with a few things that they did. I didn't manage to find the right solutions.

"We're better than we showed. We didn't manage to do some of the simple things. We didn't win enough second balls. We just turned it over without managing to build any sustained pressure on them.

"We're disappointed because we had a chance to gain a little bit of momentum. It wasn't to be. We have to take the medicine and respond."

As for that stunning Jardell Kanga equaliser, Well boss Alfred Johansson says: "A brilliant goal.

"When we scouted him, he scored a similar one in Finland. I've seen him since he was very young and knew he was a brilliant finisher, so really pleased he gets to show that in his first game.

Johansson also had praise for his goalkeeper.

"Alex Pauslen was amazing," he adds. "Without him, there is no point for Motherwell today. It is allowed to have a good goalkeeper and we sure do."

Motherwell manager Alfred Johansson tells BBC Scotland: "The start to the game was brilliant for us. I thought we looked really fast and complex.

"We played really well and created chances in different ways. Then we conceded three goals in nine minutes and go into half-time thinking about what the plan is for the second half. The second half was very open.

"I want to praise the team for how we dug really deep. Strength in mentality and spirit once again, but I'm not satisfied with how we ended the first half.

"We have to learn from this game that we can never stop. You can score all the chances you have, the penalty, but I'm more concerned with the problems in the first half rather than the chances. I don't think we controlled the momentum in the way that we want to."

Hibs head coach David Gray tells BBC Sportsound: "Usually, people say we're looking for a reaction after a disappointing result. It was more about maintaining our standards.

"The players were outstanding, given the disappointment and everything that went into Thursday night [Conference League defeat]. As a group, I thought we were outstanding and fully deserved the win.

"For 80 minutes, complete control, probably should've scored another goal to kill the game out completely. They get the goal right at the very end. The players found the answer to make sure we seen it out.

"That's certainly the right way to bounce back.

"I'll certainly add to the squad whilst the window's open. You're always looking as well."

St Mirren manager Craig McLeish tells BBC Scotland: "It's a sore one because Motherwell scored so late, but I think it shows how far we've come as a group that we're disappointed with that in the end and the way Motherwell celebrated a draw here shows how far we've come, how good we've been.

"We didn't help ourselves early on when we were two goals down. We got punished with top-quality finishes, but I thought throughout the game we did some really good stuff.

"We're creating chances, we're playing with bravery and aggression. The players are running themselves into the ground, leaving everything out there.

"I thought we disrupted what Motherwell were trying to do. They're going to cut you open at times, but I thought we coped with it well and took the game to them."

With the Hibs squad, and their continuity in the manager, and Malky Mackay working as well behind the scenes, I wouldn't be surprised to see Hibs knocking on the door for third place come the end of the season.

Richard Foster is suggesting that Motherwell's equaliser will be the goal of the season.

"I don't think you'll see a sweeter strike all season," the former Aberdeen and Rangers full-back tells Sportsound.

Dundee and St Mirren miss a chance to draw level with Celtic on points at the top of the Scottish top flight.

The Buddies' draw with Motherwell does move them clear on their own in second, with the Dark Blues slipping behind Hearts into fourth on goal difference.

Hibs' win at Dens Park moves them up to fifth, leapfrogging Well.

Meanwhile, Rangers' win in Aberdeen earlier means Derek McInnes's side end the day up to seventh, still five points adrift of the reigning champions.

A breathless 95 minutes comes to an end in Paisley.

It looked, for most of the second half, that St Mirren's late first-half goal flurry was going to be enough to snatch all three points.

That was until Jardell Kanga, on his debut, scored a wondergoal to take a point back to Fir Park. The 20-year-old only joined the club two days ago from Ilves in the Finnish top flight - talk about first impressions.

Three deserved points for Hibs, but they were made to work for it at the end.

Martin Boyle and Callum Wright scored with nice finishes either side of half-time and Hibs were dominant for large periods.

Joe Westley's scrambled goal for Dundee set up a late rally for the hosts, but the three points head to Easter Road.

Referee John Beaton blew for full-time after the ball had gone out for a corner, much to the Dundee supporters' chagrin.

And Beaton subsequently brandished a yellow card at Dundee's Ryan Astley for dissent.

Alex Lowry lashes his bouncing effort wide as Motherwell try to salvage something from the game.

Goalkeeper Jacob Chapman is then forced into an acrobatic save to keep St Mirren's lead intact.

Up the other end, counterpart Alex Paulsen denies St Mirren's Jake Young on the break.

We're into two minutes of stoppage time at Dens Park.

Will Hibs hold on?

Another Ethan Hamilton effort certainly has some welly on it, but a Hibs body gets in the way.

This one ain't over yet.

Substitute Fraser Taylor blocks a Motherwell pass as they try to play it long.

He spots Alex Paulsen off his line and launches a strike from range, but the shot is too high.

Nervous moment for the goalkeeper though.

A good day's work for Callum Wright as he is replaced with Joe Newell for Hibs.

Wright's goal is well worth a viewing on Sportscene later.
