I don't think Mikel Arteta looks too happy, a great start from Arsenal scoring two goals early but they have been a bit loose at moments.

There were opportunities for Arsenal to keep their foot on the pedal and they have given Ipswich opportunities.

Ipswich have responded really well to [conceding] the two goals and created some dangerous moments.

We've defended relatively well to Arsenal's threat at times so we'll have to maintain concentration and discipline.

A late chance for Liverpool from a free-kick in first-half stoppage time but Alexis Mac Allister sends the ball over.

The Premier League side haven't been in total control, but they have a two-goal lead and one foot in the next round.

Half-time at Portman Road and Arsenal are in control after goals from 16-year-old Max Dowman and Noni Madueke inside the opening 16 minutes.

Ipswich get into a good position down the right, but full-back Darnell Furlong loses his footing at the wrong moment, just as he was about to swing in a cross.

Tottenham get away with it as they lose the ball just outside their own box and Liverpool pounce quickly.

The ball is worked to Alexis Mac Allister inside the box but the ball bounces awkwardly just as he goes for the shot and he can't put his effort on target.

The cameras pan to Florian Wirtz, who is here as a spectator tonight. Both Wirtz and Virgil van Dijk have been rested by Andoni Iraola and aren't on the bench.

Ipswich started badly, conceding twice in the opening 16 minutes and they have been better since then, only for Arsenal defender Gabriel to make two vital interceptions when the ball had been played into the Gunners' penalty area.

I think De Zerbi's side have created several opportunities and had most of the possession.

So obviously other than the goal, Spurs have had a good amount of opportunities and really should be winning the game.

Brentford almost capitalise from another mistake in the Reading defence as Paudie O'Connor slips at the crucial moment. That puts Callum Wilson in and he tries to bend a shot into the far corner, but it is too close to the goalkeeper.

Frustration for Tottenham as they really should be level.

They move the ball quickly from back to front, work it down the left and a cross puts the ball on a plate for Mohammed Kudus just a few yards out, but he volleys over.

Finlay Herrick makes a good save for West Ham to stop Fulham scoring a third just before half time.

It just bounces a little bit too early for Anis Mehmeti which makes it difficult to keep that underneath the bar.

A really good opportunity for us and hopefully we can follow that up with a few more attempts.

Anis Mehmeti has a chance to get one back for Ipswich with a first-time shot from 12 yards out, but he can't keep the strike down and it zips over the bar.

Tottenham have a free-kick some 30 yards from goal and Omar Marmoush fancies it, but hammers his strike well over.

Tottenham haven't scored in four of their five games so far this season, and don't look overly threatening so far in this one.
