This one is all about Reyes Cleary as he runs at the full back down the left wing and is too good as he cuts inside on to his right foot and scores to make it 2-2.

He starts the move down the left wing, plays a one-two, shows quick feet to skip past Ipswich defender Cedric Kipre and slot the ball past Christian Walton.

The rain is coming down heavily over Anfield as Tottenham win a corner. Mohammed Kudus sends the ball into the box but Liverpool clear.

I disagree with the scepticism about resting first team players. It makes sense to use the entire squad. It's an avenue to the first team for youth prospects, an opportunity to shine for rotation players and occasionally sees a breakout performance. Helps a new manager understand the squad, too, surely?

Jeremie Frimpong wins the ball on the right and plays a neat pass for Lewis Koumas to chase. He floats a cross into the box but it is over his Liverpool team-mates.
Morato (West Ham)
Fulham were only ahead for three minutes. West Ham have a corner on the left and the Premier League side partially clear the ball, back to the left wing.
A ball is played back into the box and Konstantin Mavropanos, deep at the back post, heads the ball across the face of goal and Morato is there to power a header into the net to make it 1-1.

Perfect start for Brentford!
Dango Ouattara plays the ball into the box and a Reading player slips at the wrong time, allowing the ball to run through to Callum Wilson, who makes no mistake.
The three remaining fixtures tonight - at Ipswich, Liverpool and Reading - are getting under way now.

I think when you look and understand what De Zerbi can bring I think his flexibility and game changing, he's very aware of getting into good areas. We've seen some plus points which shows some real quality.
The pressure starts to mount from social media but I feel like as players the most important thing today is to compete. A win in the cup would mean a lot to both clubs, especially Spurs.

Rodrigo Muniz had moved away from his marker and has a simple job to head into the net unmarked from six yards out.

A third goal of the night in the all-League One tie.
Barnsley took an early lead but they are behind now. It came from Harley Mills' floated free-kick from the left and Danny Ormerod meets it with a header to put the hosts ahead.

Before the game started, Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek stood in one of the goals and held aloft a shirt with Miklosko's name on it, before placing the shirt on the ground behind the goal.

Peterborough equalise. The cross comes in from the right wing and Barnsley goalkeeper Kieren Flavell does not get any distance on an attempted punch and the ball drops to Harry Leonard and he pounces to score from close range.
Mistakes from both goalkeepers mean it is 1-1.

Got to say I’m disappointed with those line ups from both Liverpool and Spurs. Thought both managers would’ve gone for it more considering it’s their first season and still a major trophy!

Not sure many managers are taking this Cup tie seriously. Up to seven or eight changes, its becoming a joke. The fans all want to win a cup, play your best team, no excuses.

This is Liverpool’s third game at Anfield in under a week and it has been a mixed bag so far.
They were brilliant in the Champions League against Atletico but flat against Fulham in the Premier League. Andoni Iraola has made plenty of changes so you can expect energy and tonight will also be a good indication of the quality within his ranks.
“Adapting to a quick turnaround in games is clearly not only something we want to be good at - it is an absolute necessity,” Iraola writes in his programme notes.
After the upcoming international break, Liverpool have four games in 10 days and that includes two away games so it doesn’t get any easier but if Iraola's side can come out of this spell with two wins and a draw, then that would certainly be a positive outcome.
