Shannon McGregor scored in the 92nd minute as Celtic broke Motherwell resistance to maintain their 100% start to the season and move top of the SWPL.

The midfielder knocked in the game's only goal, having been introduced as a late substitute in Kirkintilloch.

It had looked like Celtic were going to drop points for the first time this term, with the visitors in stubborn mood and goalkeeper Jeni Currie making a good first-half save to thwart Isabella Fisher.

However, the last-gasp goal takes Celtic three points clear of Rangers, who host Aberdeen on Sunday (live on BBC ALBA, kick-off 16:10 BST).
