Today's result aside and, yes, a long way to go, but Gareth Taylor has done a good job so far. The Keating signing was a strange one though. She's always been an accident waiting to happen with the ball at her feet. The latest one against London City being yet another calamitous example.

GOAL - West Ham 4-0 Liverpoolpublished at 62 mins

    Viviane Asseyi

A wonderful goal from Viviane Asseyi, who gets her second of the afternoon and West Ham's fourth.

Asseyi wins a free-kick in a dangerous position 22 yards out and she hits the set piece superbly, curling a fine effort with the ball going in just under the crossbar.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:19 GMT

    West Ham 3-0 Liverpool

Japan striker Riko Ueki, back after a month out of WSL action because of injury, comes on for West Ham, replacing Kelly Gago.

    Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Chiamaka Nnadozie was caught off her line in the first half and the Brighton goalkeeper has not learned her lesson! Fortunately for her, Bethany England's effort goes just wide.

  10. goal

GOAL - Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 15:16 GMT

    Caitlin Hayes (59 mins)

All square at the Broadfield Stadium! Pinpoint delivery to the back post where Caitlin Hayes out-jumps three or four Palace defenders to nod home.

    That's Brighton's 200th WSL goal.

    Charlton 0-4 Chelsea

Manaka Matsukubo, on her full WSL debut, has another effort from the edge of the area but this one is easily pushed away by Anna Koivunen.

Five minutes of stoppage time added at the end of the first half.

  12. Postpublished at 15:15 GMT

    West Ham 3-0 Liverpool

West Ham are pushing for more goals and have two chances in quick succession. Viviane Asseyi cuts in on to her right foot and her strike is blocked but drops to Kelly Gago, who can only send the rebound effort wide of the post.

  13. Postpublished at 15:15 GMT

    Brighton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Great leaping save from Pauline Peyraud-Magnin to deny Emilie Jaramo. Two big hands from the Palace kepeer!

But again, Brighton's promising position all came from Olivia Garcia's dancing feet.

  14. Postpublished at 15:14 GMT

    Birmingham 0-3 Tottenham

Lily Crosthwaite will be glad to see the offside flag go up! The Birmingham sub rather tripped over her own feet as she tried to slot home Oceane Hurtre's low cross.

Hurtre once again had acres of space on the wing.

Has Gareth Taylor improved this Liverpool squad in any way? I'm not so sure.

    West Ham 3-0 Liverpool

Liverpool's Alice Bergstrom does well to get to the byline for the visitors, but then puts too much on the cross. But the Reds rebuild and come again with Bergstrom hitting a well-struck shot at goal, but Constance Picaud-Inconnu does well to not just save the ball, but hold on to it too.

Cornelia Kapocs gets a chance not too much later for Liverpool but over it goes.

    Charlton 0-4 Chelsea

That was speculative to say the least, but Charlton have their first shot.

They overturn the ball in the middle and Cassandra Korhonen has a crack from about 20 yards out and it soars over.

  18. Postpublished at 15:12 GMT

    Brighton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Plenty of possession for Brighton early in this second half but nothing to trouble Pauline Peyraud-Magnin.

@Roberto [14:57] - yep, I agree but hard to argue that Charlton just don't seem ready for the WSL (especially when you compare their performances to Birmingham)

GOAL - Birmingham 0-3 Tottenhampublished at 15:11 GMT

    Signe Gaupset (53 mins)

Ah, erm, what was I saying? Signe Gaupset adds Tottenham's third.

Her low right-footed effort beats the sprawling Sophie Baggaley.
