    FT: Colombia 0-0 Portugal

    Wayne Rooney
Former England striker on BBC One

You've got to give Diogo Costa a lot of credit, he made some fantastic saves but I think that is one of the best 0-0 draws I have ever seen.

The energy came from the Colombia fans as well, that gave the players a big lift.

  3. Sanchez goal 'cannot be offside'published at 02:44 BST

    FT: Colombia 0-0 Portugal

    Wayne Rooney
Former England striker on BBC One

    On Davinson Sanchez's disallowed goal...

It looks onside. This is what I mean about VAR, just get rid of it. It's ruining the game for me.

It's onside, I don't care what they're telling me and what information they're giving me, that is onside.

    That cannot be offside.

Rafael Leao is the first man. That is not offside.

Imagine that goal was to [decide] if Colombia were in or out of the next round.

    FT: Colombia 0-0 Portugal

Colombia attempted 24 shots, their most on record in a World Cup match since 1966. None of those efforts were enough to break the deadlock.

But it could have been a different story...

What a wonderful moment for DR Congo. They did it the hard way, but in the second half they were excellet. I'm really pleased for Wissa, who has had a difficult season at Newcastle.

England will be in for a tough test.

  7. 'Brilliant to watch'published at 02:33 BST

    FT: Colombia 0-0 Portugal

    Stephen Warnock

Superb game, end-to-end stuff and some moments of quality.

It was brilliant to watch, it might have been 0-0 but there was an incredible atmosphere.

It finishes all square. What a game!

We didn't get the goals it deserved, but you'll do well to see a better 0-0 than that this year.

There are a lot of Colombia fans scratching their heads. They cannot believe that goal was not given. After a couple of moments, they're back on their feet cheering their side to the finishing line. Colombia are going to top the group as it stands

Oh my word! Portugal almost win it themselves at the other end as Rafael Leao's shot-cum-cross trickles just wide of the post!

    DR Congo 3-1 Uzbekistan

    Chris Sutton
Former England forward on BBC Two

Listen to the noise in here!

The finish is wonderful from Wissa. Khusanov doesn't deal with the situation and it is just kept in by Elia. Wissa buys his time and drifts outside the box to get his shot off. He has no right to score from there. That is wonderful, it really is.

    Yoane Wissa (90+1 mins)

DR Congo are going to the knockout stages!

Meschack Elia keeps s wayward shot in play and lays the ball back to Yoane Wissa.

The forward takes a few touches, cuts in side and bends a low strike into the bottom far corner.

He was frustrated for so much of this match, but Wissa has scored two goals to help send his nation through. History in the making.
