England goalscorer Anthony Gordon, speaking to ITV: "There is always pressure when you play for England. As you know, there is top players behind you waiting on the bench to come on. There is always pressure. If you can't deal with that, you're at the wrong level."

On scoring from the penalty spot: "I was buzzing H [Harry Kane] was off. I was looking around to find him. When he was off I wanted to take it. I love penalties and I love the pressure of it. Glad to see that one go in."

I think Thomas Tuchel will be pleased. There was more intensity tonight in terms of the opposition. A good urgency from England that I enjoyed.

Three goals for England and none of them scored by Harry Kane.

Of course, England will want Kane to be scoring goals but he can't do all of the work so it's nice to see some different names on the scoresheet.

Declan Rice flying high after a stellar domestic season, Anthony Gordon reliable from the spot (can only be a good thing for England) and Ollie Watkins pushing for minutes.

The most impressive thing has been the pressure applied by England in forward areas.

Costa Rica were desperate, they were getting squeezed and smothered at every opportunity.

They couldn't find a way out.

A hugely impressive performance from England tonight.

I think there has been an understanding that the World Cup is right around the corner.

They let themselves down the other day against New Zealand, but certainly not today.

Quite a few of the England team are very good club players, e.g. Ollie Watkins, but can they step up to be strong international players? Convince yourselves and us.

It's not a great save, it bounced just before Abraham Madriz but he should do better than that, get it away from danger.

    An easy header.

    Brilliant from Morgan Rogers.

Not the greatest of shots and the goalkeeper has not covered himself in any glory.

England sign off their warm-up campaign with a convincing win and it's a poachers finish from Ollie Watkins.

Morgan Rogers gets a shot away from range and it's a poor save from the goalkeeper but Watkins is there to head home the rebound.

England still totally dominant but no doubt Thomas Tuchel's criticism tonight will be that they have not been clinical enough. It could've been a much bigger scoreline.
