And now it's time for Barcelona to collect their medals and lift the Women's Champions League trophy.

This must all feel very familiar for Alexia Putellas - she's done it three times in the past five seasons. This will be the final time for her.

At times it felt that while Barcelona were working as a team, Lyon were more individuals trying to make it happen. Can we give it to Dumornay to make something happen, or Yohannes for example. Can they have a bit more of that connection and team ethos for that extra fluidity.

Lyon probably didn't come out of the changing room for the second half. We didn't see enough of their big players, Dumornay, Hegerberg, Brand, we only saw glimpses. Sadly it just wasn't good enough.

Here come Jonatan Giraldez and his Lyon players to receive their runners-up medals.

    Understandably, they look absolutely gutted.

Lindsey Heaps is in tears. The United States captain leaves Lyon in the summer for the NWSL after four and half years with the club. Not the way she will have wanted to depart.

You have to credit Pajor. She missed a couple of chances in the first half and the mentality to think 'I was in the right place, couldn't execute it'. Second half she was in the right place again - such mentality to turn up in a major final and put her team ahead.

Before today, Ewa Pajor had been on the losing side in all five Champions League finals she played in.

Two goals and an assist later, she is finally a European champion.

She finishes the season as the top scorer in the Champions League in 2025-26 with 11 goals.

Barcelona Queens of Europe once again.

Lyon were in this game, and then they weren't.

Blown away in this second half. An impressive scoreline in the end, Pajor and Paralluelo with a double each.

    Wow wow wow.

Lyon commit everyone forward and Barcelona break.

Ewa Pajor selflessly squares the ball to Salma Paralluelo, who clips the ball into the back of the net when one-on-one with Christiane Endler.

It's a thunderous strike from Paralluelo. Lovely little roll, virtually no backlift, strikes through the ball and it's still on the rise going into the roof of the net. The clincher for Barcelona.

    Salma Paralluelo (90 mins)

    Pick that one out!

Lyon give Salma Paralluelo far too much space at the edge of the penalty area after she turned.

The Barcelona forward steadies herself before rocketing a left-foot strike into the top corner.

Practically the entire Barcelona bench streamed onto the pitch to celebrate. Scenes.
