Former Walsall winger McDermott dies aged 38
Walsall offered its "deepest sympathies and condolences" to David McDermott's family

Tributes have been paid after the death of former Walsall, York City and Kidderminster Harriers winger David McDermott, aged 38.
McDermott, who progressed through Walsall's youth system, became the Saddlers' youngest ever debutant as a 16-year-old in 2004.
After leaving Walsall in 2008, he joined Kidderminster Harriers, featuring 54 times for the Reds in the following two seasons, scoring twice.
A move to York City followed, with McDermott making 21 appearances for the Minstermen. He later had spells at AFC Telford United, Stourbridge, Rushall Olympic and Worcester City.
In a statement, Walsall said, external its "deepest sympathies and condolences are with David's family and friends at this most difficult time."
