Arsenal have signed Danish goalkeeper Isabella Damm on a permanent transfer from Brondby IF.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper joins after spending time at Arsenal on trial last season.

She is a Denmark youth international and has gained experience at both under-17 and under-19 levels.

Damm joined Brondby in 2021 and progressed through the youth ranks, making her first-team debut in October 2025.

"I'm so proud to be joining Arsenal and I can't wait to get started," said Damm.

"Arsenal is a great club and I'm excited to develop as a player and as a person here, and help the club achieve more success.

"I've had the experience of training here before and I know the environment is the right one for me to progress in."

Damm will wear the number 40 shirt and joins Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe in Arsenal's goalkeeping department.

"Isabella is an exciting young goalkeeper with a strong foundation to build on," said manager Renee Slegers.

"Her technical ability, composure and bravery are already clear, and she has a high ceiling for growth and progression.

"Along with our goalkeeping coaches and wider staff, we'll support her development as she starts her journey here at Arsenal."

Arsenal's director of women's football Clare Wheatley added: "We're really pleased to bring Isabella to the club.

"She's a player we've been monitoring for some time and we believe she's one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe in her age group."
