Glenn Phillips guides the second ball of Jofra Archer's over out to backward point for four, ending a run of 27 consecutive dot balls delivered to him by the England seamer.
Archer plants one on Phillips' turned shoulder with his following delivery, and the New Zealand batter can't score off the rest of the over - all short balls.
Most probably the end of Jofra Archer today - he has figures of 1-48 from 17 overs today, with four maidens.
Jacob Bethell rattles through a maiden to Nathan Smith.
He'll be happy to be at the non-striker's end for the next over, because Jofra Archer is going to steam in again...

Glenn Phillips found that short-ball barrage a lot funnier than I would have.
Jofra Archer gets a big cheer down at deep square leg. That’s probably the end of his spell. Plenty of effort and threat without nabbing that wicket.

Glenn Phillips, still in shades, is getting peppered again - he twice hits the deck, dropping to his knees the first time and then dramatically falling forward, then landing on his back after the last ball of the over.
He sticks his thumb to either show he's alright, or perhaps in appreciation of Archer's bowling.
A maiden, although Archer fired one down the leg side for four byes that won't count against his figures.

It came off the inside edge of the bat, it's a great catch by Root. I can't believe Blundell has done that. He's probably thinking the same.
It's a good pitch where you'd expect at least one of your top six to go out there and get 100. There's hardly any movement.

It wasn't a particulaly good ball but it was not a bad catch actually, above his head. Root was the main man there really.
That was another gift really. There's been some soft dismissals today.

Jacob Bethell's part-time spin takes a wicket in its first over.
Two balls after reaching his half-century, Tom Blundell chips a ball to short mid-wicket, where Joe Root parries the ball in the air at the top of his leap and then takes it comfortably on the way down.
New Zealand have chucked a few wickets away today.

Oooof, Jofra Archer's landed one on Glenn Phillips.
The New Zealand batter had donned sunglasses under his helmet earlier in the over and maybe that's why he didn't pick Archer's bouncer.
He tried to sway out of way and the ball clipped his right shoulder.
