Durham v Yorkshire: No play on day one at Riverside

Day one of Durham's County Championship Division One game with Yorkshire was rained off without a ball being bowled.

The delay gives both teams a chance to rest after playing in the Friends Life t20 on Friday night.

Durham are 17 points clear at the top, while Yorkshire have not won since the opening match and lie seventh.

Dale Benkenstein needs 148 runs to break Durham's first-class aggregate record, held by former captain Jon Lewis, now the county's second team.
