Schubert's Unfinished Symphony from the BBC Proms

Elizabeth Alker introduces a week of highlights from the BBC Proms, featuring some of the festival's standout performances. Paweł Kapuła conducts the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, his eighth. The programme also includes Strauss's Four Last Songs, performed with the orchestra by soprano Natalya Romaniw.

From the German summer festival of Imperial Hall Concerts in Füssen, clarinettist Ib Hausmann and the Amatis Trio perform chamber works by Horovitz and Poulenc.
