Children take part in Primary Schools' Cup football tournament

It's a super busy time for football fans, with the final weekend of matches in the Scottish Premiership and Women's Super League seasons being played - as well as the FA Cup final.
But, that isn't the only football that's been taking place...
It's also been the national finals of the 2026 Pokémon Primary Schools' Cup - the largest cup competition of its kind in England.
There were three different trophies up for grabs, keep reading to find out who this year's champions were.

The Pokémon Primary Schools' Cup is the largest primary-aged schools' cup competition in England.
More than 50,000 children and 5,000 school teams took to pitches up and down the country to play in the huge tournament.
There were three separate competitions - the under-11s Schools' Cup, the under-11s Girls' Cup as well as the under-11s Small Schools' Cup competitions.

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary Academy lifting the U11 Schools Cup
The finals took place at Championship side Stoke City's stadium in Staffordshire.
The top 24 teams travelled to the National Finals, where after a number of thrilling rounds of matches, the National Champions were crowned.

Southborough Primary School lifting the U11 Girls Cup
In the U11 Schools Cup, it was Corpus Christi Catholic Primary Academy in Wolverhampton who lifted the trophy.
The U11 Small Schools Cup saw St John's CE Primary School crowned Champions.

And, it was Southborough Primary School in Bromley who took home the U11 Girls Cup.
