Superstar skateboarder Sky Brown took silver at the World Skate Games in Paraguay this weekend.

The 18-year-old posted a best score of 89.50 in the Women's Park Final, just behind Japan's Mizuho Hasegawa who secured gold.

Sky's incredible result means she's on track to represent Great Britain in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

She first made headlines as a 13-year-old competing in the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021 - this was also the first time skateboarding appeared as an Olympic sport.

Sky won a bronze medal in Tokyo, making her Team GB's youngest Olympic medal winner at the time.

She followed up that performance with another bronze medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Sky's younger brother, Ocean, also competed for Great Britain at the event in the capital city of Paraguay - Asunción.

This was Ocean's first ever World Skate Games appearance.

The World Skate Games sees athletes from around the world compete in various sports that involve wheels - for example roller-skating, skateboarding and scootering.

It is one of the biggest events for skaters in the world, and an important competition if athletes want to qualify for the Olympic Games in LA in 2028.

The event in Paraguay is the World Skate Games' fifth edition.

Sky was joined by several Skateboard GB teammates at the event, including Lola Tambling, Lilly Strachan, Tay Cunningham and Tommy Calvert.
