Elvis Presley is in my loft!Ray Clark and Major Tom This week I found Elvis in my loft and met up with the future radio stars from Essex. And as the gales and rain blew earlier in the week, the Ray Clark Breakfast Show team battoned down the hatches - but we sent Tom out. Don't worry, it's his job! OK, we were warned that the strong winds would blow on Monday, but were we really expecting them to be that strong? ![]() Ray's Racing Fork - just watch it move After all the beautiful weather during February it really did come as an unpleasant surprise, but since then Spring has quietly crept back in and the Ray Clark Racing Fork has been back in action. I am allotment man as you know, so the exciting show biz life that I lead will see me planting potatoes over the weekend. Elvis is in my buildingI think I've found some treasure. I went exploring for something I can no longer find in our loft and there was a box of old 78 records that someone had given to me, including Hound Dog by Elvis on blue HMV 78rpm: ELVIS IS IN MY LOFT! ![]() Tom's batty friends Here's Major Tom...."I've been hanging around this week with some batty friends - fruit bats to be exact. Loads have been born at Tropical Wings in South Woodham Ferrers; I'll be honest, I wasn't too keen on them, so I got the keeper to take this photo. "Good news came on Friday... if someone ever tried to assassinate Ray Clark (it could happen), I've now learned some basic first aid. "St John Ambulance are offering free courses on CPR and you get a free blow up doll - can't be bad! ![]() Tom got to snog 'Ann' "Next week Mr. Raymond Clark is not here on Monday and he's being very suspicious about where he is going, I'll try and get it out of him. Oh, and I have one or two surprises up my sleeve for one of the team, so make sure you listen in.......
