Ray's BIG questions:What was your first radio memory? My Grandad gave me an old set of bakelite headphones, so as a kid I could lay in bed and listen to The Archers. How did you first get into radio?By the most difficult possible route! My voice somehow featured on various land based pirates throughout the 70's, and ultimately led to me joining Radio Caroline in the 80's. What is your favourite song ever?I've got thousands of favourite songs - it's a different song every day. What one thing makes Essex so special?Urban, suburban, seaside and beautiful countryside - it's all things to all people.
