Ouch weblog: individual blog entry

29 Sep 05, 12:00 AM - Adam Hills on tour

Posted by Vaughan

A huge number of this site's female readers will be delighted to hear that stand-up comic - and, most importantly of course, Ouch columnist - Adam Hills will be taking his show Go You Big Red Fire Engine 2: Judgement Day to London's Soho Theatre from 2 - 5 November. More details are available on the theatre's website.

The Ouch team had a night out a few months back to see this show, and can confirm that it's flippin' marvellous and that we laughed like drains. So if you're in the London area, get yourself along there.

Saw Adam in Hull about a year ago and although I'm not female, I loved the show! Hope he comes back to Hull soon. Cheers

Why just "female readers"? Aren't you being just a teeny bit heterosexist here. C'mon, its 2005 , you know.

I saw Adam in Liverpool just under a year ago (5th Nov). There was literally a couple of dozen in the Neptune that night. He could have cancelled the show and hopped it (sorry couldn't resit) but he did'nt. Adam went out and gave us a knock out performance and had the audience in the palm of his hand within a minute. It was the best I or anyone else had seen in an age and I hope he comes back to Liverpool soon. One of the best comics of hios generation and a true gent. Who else would order in after show pizzas for the audience?

I seen Adam in Belfast on Saturday at his 'Characterful' show. It was fantastic, the best show i've ever seen. He was so friendly and natural, signing our shirts and everything after the show. Me and my friend are still laughing, it just takes the mention of 'hurdie gurdie' and we're in fits. One of the nicest funniest people i've met.
GO YOU BIG RED FIRE ENGINE!!
