Ouch weblog: individual blog entry

18 Jul 05, 12:00 AM - Partially sighted Ceefax users wanted

Posted by Vaughan

Are you partially sighted? Do you use Ceefax? If so, and you've got 10 minutes to spare to fill out a questionnaire about your experience, you could help with research to guide the design of future digital text services. You can participate by calling Amelia on 0208 0085 365, or by emailing her at amelia.still@bbc.co.uk

I'm afraid the modern day cifax of the interactive TV thing as it's called isn't accessable to me anyway. TV screans, I've found, are far too bright for me to have my nose up against the screan to read more than the odd emboldened sentance. So, i'm severaly restricted to what info I could get from them. The net is my best bet and cifax would have to start talking to me to get me to use it.
