What is the Eiffel Tower?

The Eiffel Tower () is named after Gustave Eiffel, the man whose company built the tower.

It is a famous landmark () in Paris and was built between 1887 and 1889.

At 324 metres, it is the tallest () structure in Paris, and there is an amazing view () from the top.

You will need:

Card, scissors and coloured pens and pencils
  • An A4 sheet of thin card ()

  • A pair of safety scissors ()

  • Coloured pens () or pencils ()

Instructions

  1. Print out () the template () onto an A4 sheet of thin card.

  2. Colour in () the Eiffel Tower and design your own Eiffel Tower on the opposite side.

  3. Carefully cut out () the shape of the card.

  4. Fold () along the lines. You can also use this card as a bookmark.
