What are French castles?
There is an area in France called the Loire Valley, which is famous for its castles (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.).
They were built along the banks of the Loire river. Many have beautiful gardens.
One of them, Ussé Castle (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.), inspired the French writer, Charles Perrault, to write the story Sleeping Beauty (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.).
You will need:
- An A4 sheet of thin card (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.)
- A pair of safety scissors (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.)
- Coloured pens (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) or pencils (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.)
Instructions
Print out (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) the template (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) onto an A4 sheet of thin card.
Colour in (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) the windows (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) and doors (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) and add your own designs.
Carefully cut out (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) the shape of the castle.
Fold (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.) along the lines.
