Hello from Tanzania!

BBC Tyne is on a mission to prove that there are Geordies all over the world. Meet Kevin Simpson in Tanzania.

I am a worldwide Geordie working in Tanzania as a field service and general workshop supervisor for Caterpillar.

I'm from Chester le Street but now I live in Dar es Salaam.

This is a picture of me sitting on one of Tanzania's beautiful beaches.

The things I miss most being out here are my family, friends, and of course the North East of England.

But I enjoy all the beautiful beaches, the great seafood and of course the sun.

I go scuba diving in the Indian Ocean at weekends... it's hard life!
