  10. Swimmers in Stanhope Open Air Swimming Pool. Strings of bunting hang widthways over the pool and a lifeguard stands on the side of the pool. Lanes are marked out with ropes and buoys and the approximately 14 swimmers in shot all appear to be doing the butterfly stroke. At the far end of the pool a number of people sit or stand in front of a white building which has doors and windows with dark frames. On the left hand side of the pool stands a slide, much like a family with a child might have in their garden. A silver ladder leads to the top but the blue slide winds towards the pool.
