Now, over 25 years since they were first broadcast, the original radio programmes are being completed, with the final episodes being transmitted on Radio 4 at 6.30pm on Tuesdays from 3 May 2005. Simon Jones played Englishman Arthur Dent in the original series and went on to reprise the role on television. He's now returning, alongside many of the original cast, to complete the radio series, and even appears in a cameo role in the movie. Listen to Simon talking to BBC Radio Newcastle's Julia Hankin. |
