What will happen in the Media Literacy Live Lesson?
Help your class explore how to make informed choices about the information they encounter online.
In this Live Lesson, pupils will put their critical thinking skills to the test as they investigate headlines, images and videos and discover why it's important to pause and think before believing or sharing something. They’ll learn simple ways to check where information comes from, look for evidence and spot when something might be misleading.
By the end of the Live Lesson, pupils will have practical tools to help them make informed, responsible choices about what they see and share.
How to get involved:
This programme is pre-recorded and will be accompanied by a live website commentary feed for schools on this page. We’ll be updating it with your comments and shout-outs live throughout the broadcast.
Email your shout-outs to live.lessons@bbc.co.uk with Newsround as the subject, or get in touch using the get in touch form.
If you are sending in any images or videos that feature children, please confirm in your email that you have parental or guardian permission.
