The BBC supports a small number of specialist bursaries and opportunities for journalists, alongside our industry-leading journalism apprenticeships. Opportunities in BBC newsrooms allow colleagues to learn at the cutting-edge of new journalism techniques, and can be found on the BBC Careers site.
BBC National Short Story Award
Short story award for established authors worth £15,000. The award is for a single story of up to 8,000 words. Submissions are open annually with more information on the BBC National Short Story Award website.
The Black Collective of Media in Sport in the North
Series of masterclasses and training delivered by industry experts for young people based in the North of England aiming to start a career in the sports media.
