Tag rugby is a great way of playing league but avoiding big hits.

There are no scrums or big-hitting tackles.

Instead you play the ball when you have been tagged by a member of the other team.

It is a fun way of learning all the basic passing, catching and running skills in rugby league.

All that is needed is a ball, a few jumpers and mates up for a run-around.

And the great thing is the game can be played by anyone - boys, girls, men and women.

Every year the Bradford Bulls organise a big tag rugby festival called the Bulltag Summer Competition with over 50 teams taking part.

Most of the Super League clubs also organise tag rugby games in schools and clubs.
