Cork set up a Bank of Ireland All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Meath after beating Sligo 1-11 to 0-8 in a dour contest at Croke Park. John Miskella's goal helped the Rebels lead 1-3 to 0-2 as they sides played out a desperately disappointing first half at headquarters.
Cork continued to control the game against the limited Sligo outfit.
Sligo had gone into game full of hope after their first Connacht title in 32 years but they looked a mediocre side.
