What's worrying for Arthur Fery is that it feels like Lorenzo Musetti has more gears to go through if needed.

The Italian is already applying pressure on his serve again as he gets a 15-30 opening.

Arthur Fery fought back from a set down in his opening two matches at Wimbledon and then beat Zizou Bergs from 2-1 down, but this is unchartered territory for the British number one now.

I think for Fery, it's just the indecision at this stage. He's just trying to work out 'can I stand closer to the baseline and take the ball on the rise or should I be going back deeper?'

If he does go too far behind the baseline, that more or less takes away his opportunity to attack.

Arthur Fery can be so effective when he comes to the net. There's the perfect example as he quickly swipes away a couple of forehands and wrongfoots Lorenzo Musetti.

But then it all goes pear-shaped. A forehand into the net and it's break point Musetti.

A misjudgement there from Arthur Fery as he lets a Lorenzo Musetti forehand pass him by and then turns to watch it land well within the court.

The Italian goes for the spectacular on the next point, trying to round the net post after Fery sends him out wide, but he can't quite get the bend on it to take it inside. 15-15.
