Can Antonelli extend title lead?published at 13:54 BST
Image source, Getty ImagesThe good news for Kimi Antonelli is his two closest rivals in the championship, Mercedes team-mate George Russell and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton, both qualified below him in yesterday's top 10 shootout.
Russell starts four places lower than the Italian in sixth, and trails the youngster by 66 points going into today's Spanish Grand Prix.
For Hamilton, he can make up a few points on Russell if he stays ahead - there are 10 between the two in second and third - but after last week's Monza disappointment, the seven-time world champion has fallen 76 points adrift of leader Antonelli.
Lando Norris, meanwhile, can put some clear air between himself and fifth-placed Charles Leclerc with a good points haul in Madrid, after the Ferrari driver crashed out and failed to score at the Italian Grand Prix.
