Spain are thinking about getting the ball to Lamine Yamal as quickly as possible. That's how much trust they have in him. He has shown it already.

It's going to be a tough evening against Uruguay's back six and they will need a piece of magic.

Just as I say that, Ryan Mendes storms into the final third with a powerful run.

He is unable to work an opening to cross the ball, but it is much better from Cape Verde.

It's not been a good record for Darwin Nunez but what a stage to break that and help his side reach the last 32.

It's got to be a big performance from him.

    Cape Verde 0-0 Saudi Arabia

    Glenn Davis

Tonight it is about who handles the pressure better in this environment and with advancement a possibility. For me it is who is going to take a little bit more risk? Both teams have been successful so far based on deep, low block defending and trying to keep the game in front of them. Who is going to get the transitions going? Who is going to take the risk in trying to win this?

This is the fourth - and final - match being hosted in Guadalajara.

The stadium sits upon an artificial hill and is designed to resemble a volcano, with red seating evoking the crater and a white roof - supported by 16 pillars - appearing to float like a cloud above the lava.

The 2026 tournament coincides with the start of Guadalajara's wet season, with the vast majority of annual rainfall coming between June and September. Often considered Mexico's second city, it lies at an altitude of over 1,600m, which may cause some players to tire quicker.
