  1. Goodnight👋published at 21:49 BST 14 July

That's all from us after a busy evening of Scottish League Cup action, thanks very much for your company.

It was a mixed bag for the Premiership sides this evening. While Aberdeen, St Johnstone, and Dundee were comfortable winners, Falkirk and Dundee United lost to lower league opposition and Killie needed penalties to snatch a bonus point against Raith.

Last year's Scottish Cup finalists bounced back from their shock defeat by third-tier East Kilbride on Saturday to cruise past Dumbarton. While Cove Rangers came from behind to beat the K-Park club tonight.

Fear not, we'll be back on Saturday with the next round of group stage games.

Now, away and catch the rest of France v Spain!
