Jacob Murrell is found just outside the six-yard box and flicks the ball into the path of Finley Barbrook, but the midfielder's low drive from 12 yards is cleared by the outstretched foot of goalkeeper Beau Reus.

Close to a second for Kilmarnock. Bailey Rice hits a free-kick from distance that almost catches out Raphael Sallinger, but he palms away.

Killie come again through Greg Kiltie, but again Sallinger makes a smart save.

What a goal that almost was!

Hibs' striker Thibault Klidje chested a ball brilliantly down to Callum Wright to put him clean through, but Max Stryjek makes a good save.

Hearts boss Wouter Vrancken made a change at the break, with striker JJ Williams replacing James Wilson.

Scotland fans will be hoping it is not an injury that could force the teenager to withdraw from the latest national squad.

Meanwhile, early goals from Chris Hamilton and Brian Graham have Ross County two up at home to Queen of the South.

It's Aberdeen who lead at the Fir Park interval.

Motherwell have had the majority of possession, but their efforts haven't really tested Marius Muller in the Dons goal.

Aberdeen had failed to hit the target, but up stepped Gavin Molloy to drive a wonderful strike into the bottom corner.

The first goal for Stephen Robinson's side in the Premiership since the opening weekend win at home against Hearts. Could it be a big one?

Some boos and jeers greet the half-time whistle at Easter Road, where Hibs are currently on course for a sixth home league loss in a row.

It's been a fairly even game, with a stunning lack of quality in either box. Perhaps we could put that down to low confidence.

Hibs try and fire back immediately, and it's Josh Mulligan involved again.

With a beautiful shimmy of the feet, he dances away from two defenders, but there's no venom in his shot.

Harry Milne gives away a free-kick for a crude challenge on Ethan Ross.

But Hearts manage to scramble clear Ryan Strain's free-kick.

The visitors are struggling but manage a rare break, with Josh McPake having a shot deflected wide for a corner from close range.

And now it's getting heated.

Tom Sparrow and Nesta Guinness-Walker clash, with Sparrow going out his way to approach the Aberdeen full-back and barge him to the ground.

Was a head involved there? Apparently not, according to referee Steven McLean and the VAR team. Just a yellow card for the stand-in Motherwell captain.
