Live Reporting

  1. Bournemouth 1-0 Aston Villa

Emiliano Buendía should do better really as he gets the ball just outside the box but can only drag a tame effort wide. He had space to produce something better there, really.

  2. Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

A nice looking ball into the box from Oscar Bobb and Rodrigo Muniz's header is straight to Dean Henderson but it's a strange bit of goalkeeping from the Palace shot stopper, who has been out for a while.

    Bit rusty?

  3. goal

    GOAL - Sunderland 3-1 Brentford

    Callum Wilson (42 mins)

    Back in it?

Jadon Anthony picks out Callum Wilson, who is level with the penalty spot, and he scuffs a volley into the turf before it flies into the bottom corner.

    What a game.

  4. Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

Talk about against the run of play.

Just how important could that goal be for the Eagles?

Benjamin Lecomte is fuming with Joachim Andersen after he failed to put up Eddie Nketiah.

  5. McConnell has to be 'careful'

    Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

    He has to be careful.

The thing is with these young players on yellow cards, [the manager] might look at half-time and think we might have to sacrifice you because we can't afford to go down to 10 men.

It was a big horrible touch from McConnell, he tries to make amends and he stuck a hand out.

  6. goal

    GOAL - Sunderland 3-0 Brentford

    Malick Fofana (39 mins)

Who needs to play a first 11?!

Sunderland are absolutely flying in this first half despite changing all 11 players in their side.

Malick Fofana is there at the back stick to head his side into a 3-0 lead after Jocelin Ta Bi's cross.

  7. Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Anfield raises its voice as Rio Ngumoha surges forward. He feeds the overlapping Konstantinos Tsimikas but his low cross is hacked away.

  8. goal

GOAL - Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Eddie Nketiah (37 mins)

    Out of nowhere!

It has been all Fulham so far but somehow Crystal Palace are ahead after a brilliant counter-attack.

A lovely ball into the box from Oscar Mingueza and Eddie Nketiah has timed his run superbly to guide into the corner.

    A lovely finish.

  9. Bournemouth 1-0 Aston Villa

Bournemouth are causing problems for Villa with crosses from the flanks and one from the right goes through to Amine Adli, but he can't keep his first-time strike down.

  10. Sunderland's star man Ta Bi

    Sunderland 2-0 Brentford

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

I said before the game I was looking forward to seeing Jocelin Ta Bi.

He’s been involved in both goals.

What I like about him is he attacks the fullback, he has a go.

Who on earth at Anfield thinks it's appropriate to boo Hendo? He was a quality captain, a proper leader and along with Klopp took us to the very pinnacle of European football. Short memories and very uncouth of us.

Disgraceful that a small section of fans booing Henderson. Fantastic captain for our club winning everything.

  12. Memories of Luis Garcia

    Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

    Aadam Patel
    Football Reporter at Anfield

The Luis Garcia song is ringing around The Kop.

It was 22 years ago when Garcia and Xabi Alonso both joined Liverpool and went on to win the Champions League at the end of that season.

I am a Chelsea fan. Totally agree with Clinton Morrison - Lacroix has not played as well as some have thought. I think he struggles pace-wise and lacks a tad of composure on the ball. His physicality and arial presence is much needed though.

    William

  14. Bournemouth 1-0 Aston Villa

    Should be 2-0!

Marcus Tavernier stops a low ball into the box before bending a shot towards goal but it zips just wide of the post.

  15. Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Liverpool speed things up and the ball is sent wide to Konstantinos Tsimikas on the left. His low cross worries Moisés Caicedo enough that he knocks the ball behind for the game's first corner, but it comes to nothing.

  16. HALF-TIME

    Man City 1-1 Brighton

    All square at the break.

  17. Man City 1-1 Brighton

Manchester City lose the ball in the middle of the park and Yasin Ayari spots Geronimo Rulli off his line and looks to emulate his team-mate Diego Gomez with a goal from the halfway line but he can't squeeze it on target.

  18. Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Patient stuff from Liverpool at the moment as they work the ball from left to right and back again, trying to find a gap in the Chelsea defence.

Not sure why Koumas got a booking there. The contact was made by Lacroix swinging through into him, all Koumas did was attempt to block a clearance. Referee has been conned by the theatrics.

    Jack

  20. Fulham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Fulham have a free-kick in a fairly dangerous spot.

Alex Iwobi delivers a decent ball but there's a foul in the box so it's a missed opportunity.
